The PLACES (Raketenstation) series has been created in April 2016, during a one-month residency in the guest studio of the Museum Island Hombroich at the "Raketenstation". The former NATO missile station was also called "the place that does not exist" during the Cold War, as the site was not shown on official maps. The series consists of ink drawings showing real locations on the Hombroich Raketenstation. Deserted sceneries, abandoned installations and sections of landscape in April. In addition, the exact geodata of the respective location are noted.
